It’s cranberry harvest season and that means fresh cranberries should be bouncing into a grocery store near you very soon, if they haven’t already. Be sure to stock up on fresh cranberries this fall by buying one bag for now and two for the freezer. You can store bags of fresh cranberries for up to one year in your freezer.
Fresh cranberries are cholesterol free, fat free, and sodium free. A serving of fresh cranberries contains 7 mg of Vitamin C and many other nutrients including potassium, fiber and Vitamins B6, C, E and K.
