Cranberry Brine
Ingredients
- 1 can cranberry juice concentrate
- 1 can orange juice concentrate
- 1 orange (quartered)
- 1 lemon (quartered)
- 1 c. kosher salt
- 1 tbsp. dried thyme leaves
- 4 bay leaves
- 1 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 3 whole garlic gloves
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 red onion (quartered)
- 1 gallon water
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a large pot
- Submerge meat or poultry in the brine
- Refrigerate for 14-16 hours before roasting/cooking
